Do age restrictions apply to CSC Retirement Profiles?
You can take up a CSC Retirement Profile if you're 60 or over and you meet a super condition of release.
CSC Retirement Profiles are designed for customers aged 60–70 who are about to retire. If you are age 75 and want a CSCri account that’s based on a profile, this specific tailored approach may not be as effective for your age. To consider your options call 1300 725 171.
If my spouse wants a CSC Retirement Profile, do they have to apply for the same one I choose?
While your spouse doesn’t have to apply for the same CSC Retirement Profile as you, we've designed our profiles to consider a couple as a whole. If you and your spouse choose a different profile, the profile objectives and outcomes may not align.
Can I restart a CSC Retirement Profile to add money?
Yes, however CSC Retirement Profiles are not designed to be stopped and restarted. If you’re adding money, you’re likely to have a different overall balance and your income needs may be different to the original CSC Retirement Profile you chose. To consider your options call 1300 725 171.
Can I take up a CSC Retirement Profile if I've claimed my PSS or CSS benefit?
Yes, however CSC Retirement Profiles are designed with specific criteria in mind. If your circumstances have changed, consider your options and call 1300 725 171.

How to apply

Gather your information
You will need to provide:
- your member number (log in to the CSC Navigator or check your Annual Statement)
- Tax File Number
- amounts you will transfer into your starting balance, and where they will come from (i.e. other super funds or personal contributions)
- bank details for payments and withdrawals
- identity documents for digital verification or certified documents
- beneficiary nomination.

Download the application form
Complete and return your application. If you need assistance with your application, call 1300 725 171.

Send your completed application
We'll set up your CSCri account according to your instructions on your completed form.

Read your welcome letter and access the online portal
You'll receive a welcome letter or email with your retirement income stream payment amount and frequency, your chosen investment options, and your beneficiaries. We'll also explain how to log in to the CSC Navigator to access your account.

Review your selected profile annually
We'll reach out to you at the end of every financial year about the upcoming annual income drawdown strategy for your profile.
How long does it take?
Your new CSCri account will be ready approximately one week from the date we receive your completed forms.
If your CSC Retirement Profile includes a Challenger annuity, your application will progress once you have discussed your retirement strategy with a CSC Financial Planner.
