How to find your operating system
Windows desktop and Surface Pro
- Type Windows button + R on your keyboard
- In the ‘Open’ field type in msinfo32 and click ‘OK’ to display your OS information.
Mac book and Apple computer
- Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen
- Select ‘About this Mac’
The ‘OS Name’ should be the first thing you see.
Android devices
- Open your device's ‘Settings’
- Tap ‘About Phone’ or ‘About Device’
- Tap ‘Android Version’ to display your version information.
Apple iPhone and iPads
- Open your device's ‘Settings’
- Tap ‘your name’
- Tap ‘this iPhone’ or 'this iPad' to display your iOS version information
