Who we are

Our CSC vision is simple and trusted super. We’ve been in the superannuation business since 1922; our proud heritage reflects the Commonwealth government as an early adopter of superannuation for its employees.

Today we manage 11 super funds for current and former APS and ADF members. Our assets under management have grown to $70.6 billion with more than 750,000 customers, including 230,000 pensioners.

Our unique position as a liability manager, rather than an asset manager, puts us in good stead to support our members as they move through retirement.

Our membership

CSC super funds are established exclusively to meet the needs of Australian Public Service employees and Australian Defence Force members and their families. CSC is the trustee of 5 regulated funds and administers 6 unregulated/exempt public sector funds.

Bound by regulator and corporate governance, we manage and invest to maximise benefits to our members as set out in the legislation that governs us.

Super is personal, and so is our approach. We continue to manage and administer each fund with the same principles—a focus on fairness, collaboration and a commitment to both member outcomes and member experience. We understand our members like no one else.

Built on shared values

We’re proud to wear the government crest and proud to serve those who serve our country. Our values guide us in everything we do; they’re simple but they mean a lot. We're here to be the trusted and experienced partner who achieves long-term investment objectives, and guides informed and confident retirement decisions.

We give our members peace of mind that their families and futures are in safe hands.
