Reminder: PSSap Member Data File accuracy

It’s important to accurately submit employee data files, particularly when submitting PSSap members’ date of birth.

27 Aug 2024

It’s important to accurately submit your data files, including when submitting PSSap members’ date of birth.

Changes or errors in a date of birth can impact future and past insurance premiums and cause significant financial impact to members as retrospective back-dated charges will need to be applied. Amending historical records is a complex process which can cause unnecessary stress for members.

To prevent these issues please ensure all date of birth changes are double-checked for accuracy before submitting.

To ensure PSSap contributions can be correctly allocated, please include your five-digit employer ID in your file. If you’re using a third-party provider for salary sacrifice contributions, ensure they report your employer ID in their file submission also.

Your accuracy helps maintain data integrity and a smooth process for everyone. If you have any questions, contact us at employer.service@csc.gov.au
