Social media terms of use

We use a number of social media channels to provide information and general advice about superannuation products and services. When you use, access or post to a CSC social media channel, you agree to comply with these social media terms of use (as modified by us from time to time) and the terms and conditions of the relevant social media, and you also agree to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

We want our social media channels to be welcoming, friendly and useful to our members. We may remove any material or comment that we consider is inappropriate, including any material or comment that:

  • discloses or provides access to the personal information of any individual (including any of our other members or staff), or any confidential or sensitive information
  • does not relate to our business, is political in nature, involves commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations, or includes link-baiting (i.e. embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own page or website)
  • is abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory or offensive (including any material or comment that is hateful, or discriminatory against race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or political beliefs)
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or otherwise unlawful (including any material or comment that violates any intellectual property right)
  • is disruptive to the social media channel or platform, or that involves spam, phishing or malware.

We may also block users who breach these terms of use or the terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform.
